Billing & plans
WebPinch has two billable scopes — your personal account and any organization you own. They’re billed separately and have different limits.
How you’re billed depends on where you are
WebPinch uses two payment providers, and which one you get is decided by your region.

Your region is detected from your connection when the upgrade dialog opens. If it guesses wrong — or you’d simply rather pay in the other currency — there’s a manual currency toggle in the dialog, and switching it switches the provider too.
The difference that matters: Razorpay payments don’t renew. You buy a month or a year, and access ends when it expires unless you buy again. Stripe subscriptions do renew until you cancel.
Prices
Per seat. Organizations multiply by the number of seats; personal accounts are always one seat.

The “Internal” plan you may see in an API response is for WebPinch staff accounts — it isn’t selectable from the UI.
Personal plan: free vs Pro
Free is the default for new accounts and is more generous than people expect:
- 5 personal projects, unlimited tasks in each
- 1 organization, with 1 free teammate in it — you as owner never count against that
- Full access to the kanban, extension, visual review, audits, REST API, and MCP server
Pro unlocks:
- Unlimited personal projects
- The option to remove the “Powered by WebPinch” badge from screenshots, recordings and exports — see Branding

Organizations: per-seat billing
Personal projects can’t be shared. To collaborate, create an organization (Profile → Create Organization) and put your projects under it.
Org billing is per active seat. The owner buys seats; each seat is one collaborator. The owner is always free and never counts against the seat count — so a 3-seat org means the owner plus three teammates.
Every org gets one free teammate seat before you have to buy any.
Once seats are purchased:
- The owner can invite up to the purchased seat count
- Members get access to every project in the org
- Members can also be added to specific projects only (e.g. a contractor on one project)
Two errors you may hit when inviting:

Only the owner can invite someone as an admin. Admins can invite members, but not other admins — otherwise an admin could mint more admins and escalate around the owner.
Discounts and coupons
- India (Razorpay) — WebPinch coupon codes apply here. Enter one in the upgrade dialog before paying; it supports flat and percentage discounts and shows you the recalculated total before you commit.
- Global (Stripe) — WebPinch coupon codes don’t apply. Stripe’s own promotion codes do, and there’s a field for them on the Stripe checkout page.
Cancelling
This differs by provider, and the difference is easy to get wrong:

What happens when a plan expires
Plans downgrade at their expiry date. WebPinch re-checks on login.
Personal: Pro → Free
- All existing projects keep working
- You can’t create new projects beyond the 5-project free limit
- Projects over the limit don’t disappear — they’re over-quota until you renew
Organization: paid → unpaid
- The owner can still see and use every project
- Other members lose access to org projects
- The owner can still create projects (owners are exempt from billing checks)
- The owner can’t add members until billing is renewed
Branding
Screenshots, recordings and exports carry a small “Powered by WebPinch” badge. Paid plans can turn it off from Dashboard → Profile → WebPinch branding. On the free plan the toggle is disabled — and the server enforces that independently, so it can’t be worked around from the client.
Manage your billing
Dashboard → Billing shows your current plan, billing cycle, amount paid in the currency you were charged, and expiry or next renewal date. Organizations each have their own billing page reachable from the org’s dashboard.
Common questions
Can I share a personal project with someone? Not directly — personal projects are single-user. Move the project under an org to collaborate.
What happens to tasks when I delete a project? Tasks and their comments, checklists and attachments are deleted with the project. Irreversible.
Do API tokens stop working when my plan expires? Tokens stay valid, but their access mirrors your dashboard access — anything you’ve lost access to becomes inaccessible to the token too.
Can I get an invoice or GST receipt? Invoices come from whichever provider charged you — Razorpay for INR, Stripe for USD. Stripe emails receipts automatically for subscription payments.
